One laugh, the gentle breeze, your perfume in the air, knowing that you are safe with the one you love, are all the ingredients you need to make the afternoon magical.

When I met with Kate and Tim to do their engagement session, I knew the day was going to be fun. While walking with them around the downtown area of Chicago, the day had a magical feeling with the beautiful light, atmosphere, and the locations we chose.

Photographing Kate and Tim was a pure treat and I truly enjoyed witnessing the love and passion they felt for each other. Halfway through the shoot, I told them I would love to photograph them on a rooftop, and within seconds Tim was on the phone and moments later we were at a location on top of a building. The experience was fantastic and I almost fell off the side ladder! Lol.

John and I are looking forward to their wedding this summer at Inverness Golf Course in Palatine, IL.

Here’s are some of my favorites from an engagement session I photographed yesterday. When I go off to shoot a session, I get excited about what new images I am going to bring back with me. My clients are super amazing because they trust my vision and allow me to be creative. They let me in their hearts. They just go for it and say we trust you! And right there that makes my heart sing. Every moment that I capture is engraved in me forever.

We had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session with Martha and Eric. Since Eric is a die hard Cubs fan, he wanted to show his reflection of love towards Martha at Wrigley Field where they have shared many great times together watching Cub games. We were allowed to tour the entire stadium in which we captured some amazing scenery and their love for each other.

Martha and Eric we are so grateful that you choose us and trusted us to capture this beautiful moments of your love.

Lately we have been doing some planning for next years wedding season and we’re excited to incorporate some new changes. We are also excited because Yazy is putting together some details for a new project coming soon. Be sure to check back frequently for updates, and no its not a workshop :)

Many of my brides chose Wrigley Field for their session or something related with the Cubs or White Sox, but they don’t know what to wear that is feminine and still has the logo on it. It was a little cold when I arrived at the Northwestern University to meet Madeline and Kyle, so I decided to leave my funny red gloves on that didn’t match my coat :) I was really excited to finally see the hidden spot that Kyle found and where he proposed to Madeline by filling the place with candles. He told me all about it the first time we met. You can tell how much they loved each other by the way they just hold hands and look at each other.

For this shoot I only took 3 lenses with me, the 85mm, 50mm and 70-200mm. As soon as I started shooting and having them talk to me about their day, the sun came out and we didn’t even feel the cold as much anymore. It was really fun. The place looked different then when Kyle proposed, because the flowers weren’t out yet or the grass. But it was really special for them to come back and have their session there.

I don’t know how to explain it but my clients always teach me so much by the way they love each other and by the way they see life.
